The girls played their violins at a Christmas concert in DeRidder, LA .They were invited to play Christmas carols, front and center, with
the Vernon Parish Community Orchestra.
Their violin teacher, Dr. Karen Gordy, directs the orchestra.It was a wonderful experience.
They played with the string orchestra Dec. 4at Dr. Mathew's office party as guests ate and mingled.
Dec. 5 the girls played a number of Christmas songs at a "Good Girls' Night Out" Christmas Party at Angelle Lord's home. Abigail and Isabelle were excited to play for their friends who came with their mothers.
Dec. 16 the Vernon Parish Community Orchestra performed at the East Leesville Baptist Church (the same program as the Dec. 2 DeRidder concert, except with two additional young violinists playing Christmas Carols). Again, a wonderful experience for the girls, and a beautiful performance.
